Acorn Growth Cos. Adds Experienced Financial Controller
Acorn Growth Companies (Acorn), a private equity company based in Oklahoma City, announced the addition of Leann Hewett to the financial team. Acorn manages and oversees global operations of portfolio companies under the brand, AGC Aerospace & Defense.
“We’re pleased to welcome Leann to the company,” commented Jeff Morton, Chief Financial Officer of Acorn. “The acquisitions we’ve completed and those we’re forecasting, along with our program wins, required someone with Leann’s extensive background and experience in financial operations and treasury activities. She’s no stranger to the complexities of government regulated industries, human resource management, or multi-state transactions.”
Hewett will be part of the AGC Aerospace & Defense team providing support to all companies falling under the AGC Aerospace & Defense umbrella.
Prior to joining Acorn, Hewett was the corporate controller and treasurer at CompONE Services, LTD. Hewett was responsible for the preparation and analysis of financials from companies in multiple states in addition to due diligence on new acquisitions.
